It also has a ramp for disabled access to a wooden platform. Uncle Tom’s Cabin sells a wide range of ice creams, light snacks, and everything you need for a classic fun family day by the seaside. The promenade is lined with beach huts that offer stunning views of the Thames Estuary, the area is popular with sailing, boating, jet-skiing, specially kitesurfing. It's a wel-liked beach by the locals with easy access to Thorpe Bay, which offers a variety of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants.
